This Sunday March 21st Purple Martini will be at the Thornhill Golf & Country Club show. Once again we will be offering our show special which gives you a complimentary Photo Booth at your wedding fully loaded with tons of fun props from hats, boas and wigs to chalkboard message signs! This $300 value is a great way to add some excitement to your reception and your wedding photos!

The show is a free event taking place from 10am to 4pm and they will be serving a delightful buffet for you to enjoy as you speak with the club’s most trusted vendors. Jen & Matt’s Winter Wonderland

I can still remember the day I first met Matt; We had gone out for drinks in Richmond Hill with another friend Kat and thats when Jen and Matt told us they had just gotten engaged! Jen is an old friend from high school whom I’ve known since grade 9! Wow does time fly! Well one beautiful 2 yr old later and a change in photographer (soooooo flattering for me and PMP – they had booked another photographer before PMP even existed and then decided to switch The day came and it was just BLIZZARDING! It reminded me of the first time we tried to do their engagement photos and we got hit with that huge tornado. Well there was no redoing this wedding! By the time we had gotten to the church the snow had settled down and started to melt. Everything was so beautiful! The ceremony brought tears to the bride and grooms eyes and I think half the crowd was tearing up with them. The snow made a perfectly timed appearance just as we started doing the formal photos and it was just picture perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding! And I love when my couples and their wedding party brave the cold and do their shots outside!

You guys deserve nothing but the best!! Congrats!!

Hahahaha! This pic of Matt dresses in what I can only assume is Jen’s clothing, was under every chair at the reception! It was a great little surprise and good laugh during the speeches!

As our 2010 weddings are underway and we’ve had a boom of interest in our photo-booth, we’ve decided to do a little special for all our couples booking before March 17th 2010. You will receive a free photo-booth at your wedding! (we do need to be booked at the reception for a minimum of 3 hours). This will include a fun backdrop and tons of silly, crazy and super fun props from hats and wigs to lays and boas and hula skirts and a chalkboard for your guests to leave a picture message! This is normally a $300 added value. You’ll also have the option to get prints on the spot at a discounted price as well.

Now to the VOTING part of this. We are looking for a new fun backdrop for this year. Something fresh and quirky and another that is more formal. You guys get to be the judges! So below are the images of our favorites so far.

The Orangeville Bridal Show

Look out for Purple Martini on Saturday February 27th 2010 from 10am to 5pm at the Orangeville Bridal Show (@The Orangeville Fairgrounds).
Amy will be there with our booth (as I will be at Jen and Matt’s Wedding with Lui). You’ll be able to see all of our books and products and portfolio pieces. We also have a ‘Show Special’; if you do book with us that day at the show, we will provide a complimentary photo booth area at your reception where you and your guests can take as many pictures as you like with some fun props and a chalk board! It’s a great way to keep your guests entertained and capture some great memories!

FYI: We are at booth #41 in Hall B
